My passion for healthy living and self-sufficiency grew into a dream of one day having my very own farm. With consistant effort and dedication the Rosy Farmhouse was here!

How my story began

I left the big city, bought a cozy home on a little land, and fell in love with homesteading. Growing wholesome food straight from the garden and raising babies is a dream come true.

I remember when homesteading seemed like a far away dream to me, but now here I am! Raising the babies that can run around outside safely, feeding the chickens, horses, goats, and starting seeds for the garden all while raising 4 babies that can run around outside safely. But it didn’t happen overnight.

My homesteading journey began with a small garden I kept on my patio and learning how to make sourdough bread. From that point on I was hooked! I needed to learn more. These skills improve your quality of life and I quickly realized I did not want to miss out on the oppurtunity to teach my kids how to grow food, cook from scratch, and have a more wholesome self-sufficienct lifestyle. In todays world simple skills like these are truly valuable.

Homesteading has changed mine and my family’s lives for the better– which is what fuels my passion to share this lifestyle with others.

Rosy Farmhouse FAQ’s

We are on 6 acres of land in Southern Oregon. We raise chickens, horses, goats, bunnies, cats, dogs, ducks.

No, we try to do as much as we can. My husband is my best friend and hunter that prepares our protein venison, sausage, chicken, and fish. While I have been learning how to perserve food from the garden, canning, and bake sourdough bread.

We usually shop with Costco, Azure standard, Trader joes, and local farms in the area.

I had a passion for spending more time with family and learning how moms were making extra income with multiple income steams. I realized how reliant we were on that one paycheck every month. So I took my scroll time to learn how to use social media and quickly gained over 55k followers on Instagram to prove to my self it was possible. Then applied the skills and got busy.
